In an address to the 39th Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran on Monday, Pezeshkian said no power will be able to defeat or overcome Muslims if they are united and committed to justice.

"If Muslims are united and have no division and conflict, the Zionists will never be able to commit crimes in Gaza and the regional countries,” the president emphasized.

He further expressed hope that meetings among Muslim nations would lead to unity and cohesion, noting that the Tehran conference aims to break down the “wall of division and create unity” among Muslims.

Pezeshkian said the West falsely accuses Iran of violating human rights while its concept of human rights shows no mercy towards children, women and the elderly, and it is engaging in genocide.

He emphasized that the West has no sense of humanity and exacerbates conflicts among Muslim nations “so that it can sell its arms to Muslim countries."

The president further said the US and Israel failed to achieve their sinister goals during their 12-day imposed war on Iran “because we had unity and cohesion.”

He added that Iran’s missiles, as well as the brave and strong Armed Forces, dealt a heavy blow to the enemy during the war, but the unity and cohesion of the nation dealt a much stronger blow to the enemy and discouraged them.

Iran conveyed the message to the enemy that it would never bow to oppression and aggression, Pezeshkian emphasized.

He thanked Muslim countries for adopting a firm stance in condemnation of the Israeli regime’s crimes, stressing the importance of fostering unity and cohesion.

On June 13, the Israeli regime launched an unlawful aggression against Iran, leading to the assassination of many senior commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary citizens.

Iran retaliated in less than 24 hours with a barrage of missiles and drones, and followed it up with a series of retaliatory operations under True Promise III.

The US entered the war on behalf of Israel on June 22, when its bombers hit three Iranian nuclear sites in brazen violation of international law.

In response, Iran launched a missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest US military air base in West Asia, in an act of self-defense.

The embattled Israeli regime was forced to unilaterally accept a truce deal on June 24.
